The Design Details
The client, a construction company owner, wanted a home decorated to welcome guests with luxurious sleeping quarters and beautiful, connected yet functional gathering spaces.
The home featured a strong Mediterranean style when we began and we wanted to bring in a more Caribbean vibe. We set out to honor the centuries long trade connection between the Carolinas, New Orleans and the Virgin Islands to create a low country beach vibe.
Inspiration from local art influenced both color and furnishing choices. The home now features zones that flow together providing both indoor and outdoor entertaining that makes guests feel welcome, Caribbean style.
